Lielies Tummy Time Leaf

This is the perfect product as it is soft, padded and so portable!

Tummy time is not only an important way to prevent flat spots on your baby’s head, it is also an important part of your baby’s normal growth.

From the day they come home, babies benefit from 2 to 3 tummy time sessions each day for a short period of time (3 to 5 minutes). As the baby grows and shows enjoyment of tummy time, you can lengthen the sessions. As babies grow older, more tummy time helps build strength for sitting up, rolling over, crawling, and walking.

Lielies Sensory Mat

Lielies Sensory Play Mat – Small

From birth to early childhood, children use their five senses to explore and try to make sense of the world around them.

It’s an important part of early childhood development, and providing opportunities for children to actively use their senses as they explore their world through ‘sensory play’ is crucial to brain development.

Our sensory mat provides just this!

This mat comes in different sizes.

Lielies Sensory Play Mat – Large

The different aspects will help to develop sensory perception and fine motor skills.

This activity mat is designed for children to play with their parents. All parts are sewn with strong threads. The Mat can be gently washed in the washing machine.

Lielies Mobiles

Lielies Cloud Mobile

Comes in different styles and designs to match the interior design of your baby’s room.

Baby mobiles are so much more than just cute objects hanging from the ceiling or crib. Not only can they help soothe and calm your baby, but they are also a terrific way to give your baby’s brain a boost. Sensory interaction is important for newborns and infants, and that’s what’s so great about baby mobiles.

Safe use of your mobile is of course of the utmost importance.

While it’s important that the mobile remains out of reach, you do want to place it close enough for your baby to enjoy. Newborn babies have an optimum sight range of between 8 and 12 inches and have trouble focusing on objects outside of this window. Try hanging your mobile so that the bottom hangs approximately 16 inches above the surface of the crib mattress. If your baby appears uninterested, you can always lower it a tad. That being said, make sure your little one can’t reach it, and never let the strings dangle below the crib rails.

Once your baby stands up in a cot, it is time to remove it or hang it from a higher position.

Learn to sit Play Pen

Learn 2 Sit Play Pen

Wait until your baby is old enough to roll over, grasp a toy and lift her head before placing her in a playpen. Introduce her to the playpen at no later than 4 months so she can become comfortable with it by the time you use it frequently.

Six to eight months is the ideal age to use a playpen. At this age, most babies can sit up, reach for and grab nearby toys.

Our Learn to Sit Play Pen is ideal for this. It is made from 100% cotton, stuffed with ball fibre and is best used with our Learn to Sit Pillow. Size – 120cm x 120cm.

Babies this age also love new toys, so be sure to put some in the playpen with him. Do not try to tie any toys to the sides or top of a playpen, as cords or strings can present a choking danger for your child.
