Lielies is an eCommerce shop. Our studio, where all our products are made, is situated in Kloof, KZN. We use the services of a courier company.

You can order the Lielies products via our website or by emailing us on info@lielies.co.za.

Orders work as follow:

ORDER FROM AVAILABLE STOCK – We endeavour to keep our popular colours in stock, ready for you to purchase. Your order will be sent to you in 3 to 5 working days from the date that payment is received.

MADE TO ORDER – Should we not have your product/colour of choice in stock, you are welcome to ORDER and we will make up your selection. MADE TO ORDER (BACKORDER) instructions are available on the website for each product and you will be clearly guided through the purchase! You will be asked to pay upfront for your order. Please note that processing of orders will only commence after receipt of proof of payment. There is a lead time of approximately 4 weeks.

DESIGN TO ORDER – Should you like a new product designed or an existing product changed, you are welcome to contact us and we will custom make the product for you. We collaborate with you to determine your choice of theme, colour and design. You will be asked to pay upfront for your order. Please note that processing of orders will only commence after receipt of proof of payment. The lead time for design to order is 4 to 6 weeks.

We can make up your order (unless otherwise specified when ordering). There is a lead time of approximately 4 weeks for your product to be manufactured. For those products that allow “back ordering”, you will be advised when a specific product is not in stock when placing your order and given the opportunity to place a backorder – simply follow the ordering process.

We work with a basic range of 100% cotton fabrics in various colours and patterns for our stuffed and bedding products.

From time to time we will also introduce new fabrics to our collections, which will be available for a limited time.

We endeavour to have the most popular fabrics in stock at our Lielies Studio. If we don’t have it in stock, we will order it from our suppliers. We can unfortunately not guarantee having a certain fabric in stock, as we are dependant of what is available in the market and there may be times that only certain fabrics are available.

Courier costs range between R100 & R300 per parcel and is specified with each item in our Shop. Please note that most of our products are very bulky and are subsequently charged per volumetric weight (length x width x height).

Collection to delivery times are:

• Main urban hubs = 2 to 3 working days
• Outlying areas = 3 to 4 working days
• In the area of Durban = 1 to 2 working days

Overnight delivery is available to ‘main areas’ within South Africa and is normally 4 x the normal courier price. Should you wish to have your parcel sent overnight to you, please let us know.

Cleaning Instructions for our stuffed products:

Use a soft cloth and gently wash the product with a diluted mixture of sunlight liquid and water. Do not rub the fabric. Leave in the sun to dry. For more stubborn marks and spots you can use Vanish liquid/water and gently treat the affected area – and again leave in the sun to dry.

The stuffed products can be immersed/soaked in water however great care must be taken to ensure that the ball fibre stuffing dries out completely after washing it this way. The product can be left in the sun to dry and be turned every few hours to ensure all water and moisture are drained/dried.

Lastly, the Lielies products can also be dry cleaned.

We have had a few moms that covered their SelfHelp chairs and other stuffed products in a fabric protector like Scotch Guard/Stain Guard and the feedback was that it was very easy to clean.
